I wish I had great things from this week, but there is not a ton of excitement that happened.
This week the classroom was turned over to me 100%. I had most of the teaching anyway, but I was so incredibly overwhelmed. I spent so much time at the school and planned tons while at home as well. It was just a crazy week and I was so glad when Friday came around.
This weekend, for General Conference, I went to Panaca with my roommate. It is a tiny town two hours away from Vegas. We went to a football game Friday night, watched conference, and rode horses. It was relaxing and fun. There was also tons of grading and more lesson planning.
One of my favorite people died on Friday. Val Jardine was such an amazing friend and I will miss him so much. I am happy he is not in pain anymore, but am sad that I cannot be there with my family on Wednesday for the funeral. That's one that I never wanted to miss!
Hopefully this week is less stressful and fun things take place!

Hi Michelle!
I am so glad that you are having fun. I just know that you are the best teacher - how could the kids not just love you!!!
I have often heard your mom talk about Val Jardine, and I know that she will miss him too. It sounds like he was a wonderful person.
Wasn't conference amazing?!
Congrats on your 100th post - I love reading them!
Hugs and Love,
Barb
