So HAPPY!

I have a confession: I love to receive things. I know I shouldn't be into worldly things or whatever, but I just love to receive things every once and awhile. So last week WALMART gave every teacher at our school a care package. Seriously - it was SO cool of them. I was really happy. They have us: a regular / big stapler, a hole punch, stickers, adorable magnets, colored pencils, a few little treats, pencils, sharpies, highlighters, a pencil sharpener, and a big thing of construction paper. I was so excited because I adore school supplies and that was just super kind of them! It totally made my day... BUT WAIT, it gets better!

Monday I get a package in the mail from my amazing parents. They sent me adorable salmon colored shoes (that I wore today for my observation and my observer commented on how cute they were), rad pajamas from Yellowstone (that made me crave Yellowstone SOOO SOooo badly), and some fun teacher books. It was so great to get a package from them. BUT WAIT....

Laura, Jerry, and Ethan sent me a deliciously amazing package today! Seriously, this was 100% what I needed and love. It was stuff that I have been craving but keep thinking that I can do without while shopping at the store (due to my non-working, non-paid student teaching experience). In the package was Idahoan potato packages (plug for Brian), my favorite gum, chapstick, REESE pumpkins and Halloween OREOS (both two of my favorite snacks in the world), wheat thins, granola bars, goldfish, donut sticks, and an adorable card. Though I may gain a pound or two, I am pleased as pie!!!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Mom, Dad, and the Halls. It was fun to get mail and surprises!!!!!!
